Fractional Business Development – PBM \& Self‑Insured Employer Specialist
Tyber Edge is seeking fractional sales executives with deep experience and
relationships in the PBM ecosystem and self‑insured employer market.
Our client is a technology‑driven specialty pharmacy and virtual pharmacy
platform focused on lowering pharmacy spend for employers while improving
member access to high‑cost and specialty medications.
About Our Client
Our client simplifies specialty medication access, combines transparent pricing
with same‑day prescription delivery, and collaborates with employers, advisors,
and health plans to reduce pharmacy‑related expenses and improve member
outcomes. Our client’s plan design options allow self\-funded employers to
integrate the platform alongside or within existing pharmacy benefits to capture
savings on specialty and brand\-name drugs without disrupting members’
experience.
About You
You can leverage your existing PBM, benefits consultant, and TPA
relationships to introduce our client to self‑insured employers and captives.
Articulate the economic and clinical value of carving out or routing specialty
and high‑cost medications through the client’s model (e.g., lower net cost,
better member support, faster access).
Build and manage a focused pipeline of employers (1,000–20,000 lives),
benefits advisory firms, and coalition partners that are actively seeking
pharmacy savings and improved member experience. Ideal Profile
5\+ years selling into or within PBMs, benefits consulting firms, or health
plans serving self‑insured employers.
Established network of benefits brokers, consultants, TPAs, captives, and
self‑funded employer decision‑makers (CFO, CHRO, VP Benefits).
Track record of building new markets or bringing disruptive pharmacy
solutions (carve‑outs, centers of excellence, specialty strategies, alternative
funding, or virtual pharmacy models) to self‑insured groups.
Comfortable operating as a fractional resource: opening doors, advancing
deals, and collaborating with our client
