About This Role

Payne Law Firm is a growing personal injury law firm focused on helping injured individuals and their families secure the compensation they deserve. The firm seeks a strategic Fractional Chief Marketing Officer to lead consumer-focused marketing, drive qualified case leads, and strengthen the firm’s brand in a highly competitive market.​Responsibilities

  • Develop and own a B2C marketing strategy to consistently generate high-quality personal injury leads (motor vehicle, premises liability, workplace injuries, etc.).​
  • Plan and oversee multi-channel marketing: SEO, PPC/Google Ads, LSAs, social media, TV/radio/outdoor, and referral campaigns.​
  • Optimize the firm’s website, landing pages, and intake funnels to maximize conversions from calls, chats, and form submissions.​
  • Manage marketing budget, vendors, and agencies; negotiate contracts and hold partners accountable to performance KPIs.​
  • Implement tracking and analytics to measure cost per lead, cost per signed case, and overall marketing ROI.​
  • Guide brand positioning, messaging, and creative to build trust, authority, and visibility in the local market.​
  • Collaborate closely with attorneys and intake staff to align marketing promises with client experience and case selection goals.​
  • Provide executive-level reporting and recommendations to the firm’s partners on growth opportunities and marketing risks.​

Qualifications

  • 2+ years of marketing experience, including leadership responsibility for strategy and budget.
  • Proven success in B2C lead generation, preferably in legal, healthcare, or other high-intent, service-based industries.​
  • Strong grasp of digital marketing for local services: SEO, PPC, LSAs, reviews/reputation, and conversion optimization.​
  • Experience working with or within law firms or other professional services is strongly preferred.​
  • Highly analytical, with experience setting up and interpreting marketing dashboards and KPIs.​
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to collaborate with attorneys, intake teams, and external vendors.​
