Duties
- Lead comprehensive financial planning, including budgeting, forecasting, and developing detailed financial projection models to support strategic decision\-making.
- Oversee corporate accounting functions ensuring adherence to GAAP (Generally Accepted Accounting Principles), IFRS (International Financial Reporting Standards), IAS (International Accounting Standards), and other relevant regulations.
- Manage risk analysis initiatives, including SOX compliance (Sarbanes\-Oxley Act), risk management frameworks, and internal controls such as COSO standards.
- Guide mergers \& acquisitions processes by conducting due diligence, valuation analysis, and integration planning to facilitate seamless business expansions.
- Develop and interpret financial statements, reports, and analyses to provide clear insights into profit \& loss, cash flow, and overall fiscal health for executive leadership.
- Supervise treasury management activities including cash flow optimization, liquidity management, and banking relationships to support organizational needs.
- Lead regulatory reporting efforts ensuring compliance with industry\-specific standards such as ASC 606 (Revenue Recognition) and tax regulations; oversee audit processes for both public and private entities.
- Collaborate with business development teams on fundraising initiatives, strategic partnerships, and revenue management strategies to maximize growth opportunities.
- Manage finance teams by providing leadership in financial software implementation, staff supervision, training on technical accounting practices, and fostering a culture of continuous improvement.
Skills
- Extensive experience in financial analysis, reporting interpretation, and financial statement analysis aligned with GAAP, IFRS, and industry regulations.
- Proven expertise in corporate finance functions including budgeting, cost control, expense management, and fiscal management.
- Strong knowledge of risk assessment methodologies and risk mitigation strategies within complex organizational structures.
- Demonstrated success in managing mergers \& acquisitions processes from initial valuation through integration phases.
- Proficiency with accounting systems and financial software tools to streamline operations and enhance reporting accuracy.
- Deep understanding of revenue cycle management, supply chain finance considerations, and governmental accounting standards where applicable.
- Excellent negotiation skills combined with strategic management capabilities to influence stakeholders at all levels of an organization.
- Leadership experience in managing finance teams; capable of supervising multiple projects while maintaining attention to detail.
- Ability to develop comprehensive financial models that support forecasting analysis and long\-term strategic planning efforts.
- Strong communication skills for preparing clear financial reports and presenting complex concepts effectively to non\-financial stakeholders.

Pay: $175\.00 \- $210\.00 per hour
