The Role
Glenmore University invites applications for an experienced, mission\-driven Chief Academic Officer (CAO) to serve as our senior academic leader. Reporting directly to the President, the CAO oversees online academic quality, distance\-education accreditation, and multi\-state regulatory compliance while partnering closely with the Chief Operating Officer (COO).
Key Responsibilities
§ Online Academic Strategy: Provide leadership for digital programs, ensuring curriculum models align with distance\-learning best practices.
§ Accreditation \& Distance Compliance: Lead institutional accreditation initiatives and ensure strict compliance with U.S. distance education regulations, state authorizations (SARA), and faculty verification.
§ Faculty \& Curriculum Leadership: Direct online curriculum development; recruit, mentor, and evaluate a remote faculty workforce.
§ Operational Collaboration: Partner with executive leadership on data\-driven continuous improvement and institutional effectiveness.
Candidate Profile
§ An earned doctorate from an accredited institution.
§ 8\-10\+ years of progressive academic leadership (Dean, Provost, CAO, or equivalent), with specific experience in online higher education modalities.
§ Proven record navigating U.S. regional/national accreditation and distance\-learning regulatory frameworks.
§ Must reside in or be willing to commute to Jacksonville, FL administrative office.
