FiscalPath Executive Partners is seeking a Fractional Accountant to support growing client engagements across small and mid\-market companies.

This position is structured as a 1099 contractor role, starting on a part\-time basis with the opportunity to expand hours as client engagements grow. The role provides flexibility while allowing professionals to work directly with business owners and leadership teams.

FiscalPath Executive Partners provides fractional CFO, FP\&A, and accounting advisory services to companies typically ranging from $1MM–$30MM in revenue.

Our clients rely on us to bring structure, financial insight, and operational discipline to their finance function while supporting leadership teams in making informed decisions.

Responsibilities

The Fractional Accountant will support client engagements with a mix of operational accounting and financial reporting activities.

Key responsibilities include:

• Maintain and manage accounting records in QuickBooks Online and other systems
• Perform monthly close processes and reconciliations
• Prepare monthly financial reporting packages including P\&L, Balance Sheet, and Cash Flow
• Assist with accounts payable and accounts receivable management
• Track and monitor cash flow and financial activity
• Support improvements to accounting processes and internal controls
• Coordinate with tax advisors and external accountants
• Assist FiscalPath CFOs with financial data and reporting for client engagements

Qualifications

Preferred experience includes:

• 5\+ years of accounting or bookkeeping experience
• Strong experience with QuickBooks Online
• Experience supporting small to mid\-sized businesses
• Strong reconciliation and financial reporting skills
• Ability to work independently while interacting with clients
• CPA or public accounting background is a plus
• Local St Louis

Pay: $50\.00 \- $65\.00 per hour
