We're seeking a Fractional CMO with deep roots in real estate investing, property management, or REI\-adjacent industries. You'll serve as an embedded strategic leader for clients in this space — shaping their brand, building lead generation systems, and aligning marketing to deal flow, door growth, and asset acquisition goals.

Core Responsibilities
Client Strategy Ownership
- Lead marketing strategy tailored to real estate investors, PM operators, and adjacent service businesses.
- Build acquisition funnels aligned to deal flow, portfolio growth, tenant acquisition, and brand visibility.
- Design and evolve strategies based on market cycles, asset class, and investor growth stage.
Client Retention \& Expansion
- Deliver measurable results that earn long\-term client retention and referrals.
- Identify expansion opportunities as client portfolios and businesses grow.
- Maintain clear, profitable engagements with no scope drift.
Cross\-Functional Alignment
- Direct content, paid media, and outreach specialists aligned to the REI client's goals.
- Partner with Account Managers to ensure seamless client execution.
- Translate investor priorities into clear campaign direction for the delivery team.
Reporting \& Insights
- Own performance outcomes across assigned real estate client accounts.
- Track KPIs tied to deal flow, door count growth, investor brand authority, and inbound lead quality.
- Present findings and strategic pivots in executive\-level client steering sessions.
Industry Expertise
- Deep working knowledge of REI marketing: investor acquisition, deal sourcing, PM growth, short\-term rental, multifamily, and commercial.
- Familiarity with platforms REI operators use: BiggerPockets, LinkedIn, direct mail, YouTube, Google Ads, and community\-driven marketing.
- Understanding of how marketing connects to AUM growth, occupancy rates, and portfolio velocity.
What You Bring
- Executive\-level marketing experience (VP Marketing or CMO level) within real estate or related industries.
- Proven track record driving growth for REI operators, PM companies, or real estate service businesses.
- Deep strategic acumen with the ability to lead diverse teams and manage multiple client engagements.
- Excellent communication and executive\-level presentation skills.
- Data fluency with an ability to connect marketing metrics to real estate business outcomes.
- Agency or fractional/multi\-client environment experience is a strong plus.
