Fractional Chief Technology Offer (fCTO) - FinTech / Banking / Crypto

1\.) About Us

Anytime Capital is a growing FinTech company building digital financial infrastructure. We currently have a newly built, production\-ready web application deployed on Vercel and connected to a structured GitHub repository.

Our development team consists of multiple full\-stack engineers and a Product Marketing Manager overseeing execution. We’re now looking for a strategic technical leader to elevate our infrastructure, guide long\-term scalability, and align our tech roadmap with business growth.

2\.) Project Overview
We need a Chief Technology Officer (CTO) to:
\- Strengthen and future\-proof our technology stack
\- Oversee infrastructure stability and scalability
\- Lead technical strategy tied to financial product offerings
\- Manage engineering workflows and production deployments
\- Ensure secure, scalable architecture aligned with FinTech standards

This role is both strategic and operational.

3\.) Objectives \& Definition of Done

Success in this role looks like:
\- Stable, scalable infrastructure with minimal production incidents
\- Clear technical roadmap aligned with business milestones
\- Streamlined deployment workflow (Jira → GitHub → Vercel → Production)
\- Improved API integrations and system interoperability
\- Documented architecture decisions and infrastructure standards
\- Proactive identification and mitigation of technical risks
\- Infrastructure designed for growth, security, and compliance readiness

4\.) Scope \& Deliverables

*\#1\. Infrastructure Leadership*
\- Audit current Vercel deployment and architecture
\- Review GitHub structure, CI/CD workflows, and branch strategy
\- Evaluate Neon database configuration and scalability
\- Ensure environment variables and secrets are structured properly
\- Implement performance, monitoring, and uptime best practices

*\#2\. Technical Strategy*
\- Develop a 6–12 month IT roadmap
\- Align tech infrastructure with FinTech product objectives
\- Plan for scaling, data growth, and security standards
\- Evaluate risk, redundancy, and disaster recovery strategies

*\#3\. Engineering Management*
\- Oversee Jira ticket workflows
\- Remove blockers and define viable technical solutions
\- Review pull requests and architecture decisions
\- Improve sprint velocity and production deployment reliability

*\#4\. Systems \& Integrations*
\- Manage API integrations and webhook systems
\- Ensure reliable inter\-system communication
\- Architect clean integration layers for banking/crypto expansion
\- Implement best practices around auth, data integrity, and security

4\.) Required Experience
\- Deep experience with \*\*Vercel deployments\*\*
\- Advanced GitHub knowledge (branching, CI/CD, PR reviews, version control strategy)
\- Strong experience with \*\*Neon (Postgres) databases\*\*
\- API integrations, webhooks, and environment configuration
\- Infrastructure scaling for SaaS or financial products
\- Engineering team leadership experience
\- Experience in FinTech, Banking, or Crypto environments

5\.) Nice\-to\-Haves
\- Experience building or scaling regulated financial platforms
\- Security architecture knowledge (SOC2, ISO standards exposure)
\- DevOps background
\- Experience with crypto infrastructure or digital asset platforms
\- Data architecture optimization experience

Pay: $20\.00 \- $75\.00 per hour

Work Location: Hybrid remote in Atlanta, GA 30324
