About This Role
Fractional Business Advisor / CEO Strategic Advisor
Xenios Technologies \| Remote \| 1\-2 Hours/Week \| 0\.75% Equity
Xenios is building the AI\-native operating system for health coaches, trainers, nutritionists, and performance specialists. We sit at the convergence of AI, coaching software, and clinical health infrastructure – a market that is forming right now as GLP\-1 medications reshape metabolic health, AI rewrites how coaching practices operate, and the boundary between coaching and clinical care dissolves.
We are a pre\-seed stage company with a founding team that includes a CTO with two prior exits (FinDox at $160M, InstaMed at $550M. We are raising a $3M pre\-seed round with committed angel capital and building toward a product launch in Q2 2026\.
I am looking for one senior fractional advisor who can operate as a strategic thought partner to me as CEO and founder.
This is not a board seat. This is not a passive advisory role. This is a working relationship where you help me think through the hardest decisions, open the right doors, and accelerate our fundraising and strategic positioning.
You and I are in regular conversation – 1\-2 hours per week – covering the areas where an experienced operator or investor can compress my learning curve and expand my network. Specifically:
CEO coaching and strategic advising. I want someone who has been in the room – as a founder, operator, or investor – at companies that scaled from zero to meaningful revenue. Someone who can challenge my thinking on prioritization, hiring, capital allocation, go\-to\-market sequencing, and the hundred decisions that determine whether a pre\-seed company becomes a category\-defining one. You push back when my instincts are wrong. You confirm when they are right. You help me see what I cannot see yet.
Fundraising and investor relations. We are actively raising. I need someone who understands how pre\-seed and seed rounds work at a tactical level: how to structure conversations, how to create urgency, how to navigate term sheets, how to manage an investor pipeline, and how to tell a story that sophisticated investors believe. Ideally, you bring a network of investors – angels, pre\-seed funds, health tech or AI\-focused funds – and are willing to make warm introductions where there is genuine fit.
Strategic network development. Beyond investors, I am building relationships across digital health, AI infrastructure, coaching/fitness, and the Austin tech ecosystem. If you have a network that overlaps with any of these – and you are willing to open doors strategically – that is extremely valuable.
What I Am Looking For
∙ Significant experience as a founder, C\-level executive, venture investor, or senior operator at a company that went from early stage to scale. You have been through the zero\-to\-one phase and know what actually matters versus what feels urgent but is not.
∙ Deep familiarity with fundraising mechanics: SAFE instruments, priced rounds, investor psychology, diligence processes, and the art of closing capital when you are pre\-revenue.
∙ A genuine network of investors, operators, or strategic contacts in health tech, digital health, AI/ML, SaaS, or the Austin startup ecosystem. Willing to activate that network for Xenios where appropriate.
∙ Comfort operating at the intersection of healthcare and technology. You do not need to be a clinician, but you should understand the regulatory, compliance, and market dynamics that make health tech different from consumer SaaS.
∙ High\-conviction, low\-ego communication style. You give direct feedback. You do not hedge. You care about the outcome, not about being right.
What Xenios Offers
∙ 0\.75% equity in a company positioned at the convergence of three massive markets: AI coaching software, GLP\-1/telemedicine, and clinical health infrastructure.
∙ A founding team with real credentials: prior exits, clinical expertise, ML depth, and deep domain knowledge from 200\+ coach conversations.
∙ A product thesis grounded in extensive market research, a 40\-year strategic health analysis, and a disciplined MVP plan already in development.
∙ Direct working relationship with the CEO. Your input shapes real decisions. This is not a logo\-on\-the\-website advisory role.
