Fractional Executive Director
About This Role
Upstream Collaborative, an organization dedicated to family preservation by equipping ministries and empowering local churches, is seeking a fractional Executive Director focused on fundraising. The hope is to grow this position into a full\-time role over time. The Executive Director is the key member of the leadership team responsible for driving the organization’s growth. The Executive Director must be a skilled communicator, effective leader, and driven professional who can help maintain key operational procedures, create new processes, and ensure day\-to\-day mission excellence in our faith\-based collaborative.
Upstream Collaborative (https://upstreamcollab.org/) has a small team led by two visionary leaders. Upstream Collaborative currently works with over twenty member organizations and has a vision to significantly increase that number.
The mission of Upstream Collaborative is to fulfill its dedication to family preservation by equipping ministries and empowering local churches. The Collaborative focuses on 'going upstream' by providing preventative support and holistic care through four specific streams: pro\-life/pregnancy centers, fatherhood initiatives, mentorship and discipleship, and crisis child hosting. This approach is distinct from 'midstream' (foster care) and 'downstream' (rehabilitative) efforts.
Executive Director Job Description
The Executive Director will focus on development. This role will be approximately 15\-20 hours per week. Growing the number of member organizations is a primary objective of this role. The Executive Director will effectively communicate with all team members.

● Dissatisfied with the reactive, limited and inconsistent response of the foster care system
● Proven leadership and staff management experience and success.
● 5\-10 years of executive level operational experience in the non\-profit sector desired.
● Demonstrated commitment to teamwork, desire to be part of a team culture, and initiative to address issues proactively.
● Desire to work in a fast paced and results oriented environment; ability to meet deadlines.
● Exceptional executive presence, business acumen and presentation skills.
● Desire/ability to work successfully in a small company environment.
What you will do:
● Build community and networks for fundraising and increasing membership.
● Develop and implement a comprehensive annual fundraising plan
● Develop (or adopt from Board direction) a vision based on the mission of the organization.
● Create an organizational plan and lead execution of the plan based on the vision.
● Build a healthy organizational culture that allows staff and volunteers to thrive.
Compensation
● Hourly consulting rate that will transition to salary with benefits
Pay: $40\.00 \- $45\.00 per hour
