About This Role

We are seeking a Fractional CFO to provide strategic financial leadership and operational support for multiple clients. As a Fractional CFO, you will guide clients' financial planning, reporting, and risk management, contributing to informed decision-making and sustainable growth.

Responsibilities

  • Financial Leadership: Lead financial operations across multiple clients, covering financial reporting, budgeting, forecasting, and risk management.
  • Strategic Planning: Develop and maintain financial models to support business decisions and identify growth opportunities.
  • Reporting & Compliance: Prepare and present comprehensive financial reports to stakeholders, ensuring regulatory compliance across all clients.
  • Policy Development: Establish and enforce financial policies to promote integrity and operational efficiency.
  • Collaborative Support: Partner with client teams to identify cost-saving and revenue-enhancement opportunities.
  • Guidance on Initiatives: Provide financial expertise on mergers, acquisitions, capital expenditures, and other strategic initiatives.
  • Stakeholder Management: Foster relationships with external partners, such as banks, auditors, and tax advisors.
  • Process Improvement: Continuously evaluate and enhance financial processes and systems for optimized client outcomes.
  • Budgeting & Forecasting: Lead the budgeting process and manage ongoing financial planning, ensuring adequate liquidity.
  • Relationship Building: Develop relationships with investors, lenders, and key stakeholders.

Qualifications

  • Educational Background: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field; CPA or MBA preferred.
  • Experience: Proven experience as a CFO, ideally in a fractional or multi-client capacity.
  • Analytical Skills: Strong financial modeling and analysis abilities.
  • Communication Skills: Skilled in translating complex financial data for non-financial stakeholders.
  • Operational Expertise: Experience in managing diverse financial operations, including accounting, budgeting, and forecasting.
  • Client Relations: Familiarity with external partners, including banks and auditors, and strong relationship-building capabilities.
  • Leadership: Ability to motivate and mentor finance teams across client accounts.
  • Results-Oriented: Track record of achieving financial targets and driving positive outcomes for multiple clients.
  • Software Proficiency: Proficient in QuickBooks, Excel, and financial modeling tools.

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $50.00 per hour

Expected hours: 5 – 15 per week

Work Location: Remote
