Job Summary
We are seeking a Fractional CFO / Controller to assist our Executive Team in optimizing the performance of our manufacturing operations, and to oversee the efforts of our in\-house accounting team to assure GAAP adherence and tax and regulatory compliance. Must have extensive hands\-on experience in a complex inventory and supply chain environment. Requires onsite presence once or twice a month.
Responsibilities
- Lead comprehensive financial analysis, including profit \& loss statements, balance sheets, and cash flow projections to inform strategic decisions.
- Develop and maintain detailed financial projection models to support long\-term planning and scenario analysis.
- Oversee corporate accounting functions ensuring adherence to GAAP.
- Manage risk assessment processes and risk analysis frameworks.
- Coordinate regulatory reporting requirements with government agencies and ensure timely submission of financial statements.
- Supervise treasury management activities such as cash flow forecasting, banking relationships, and liquidity optimization.
- Provide strategic guidance on revenue management, cost control initiatives, budgeting, and expense management to maximize profitability.
- Lead finance team management efforts including supervision of accounting staff, fostering leadership development, and promoting best practices in financial operations.
- Collaborate with executive leadership on corporate strategy development, and market analysis to identify growth opportunities.
Requirements
- Proven experience in senior finance roles with a manufacturing company, such as Finance Director, Controller or CFO with a strong background in accounting and financial management.
- Extensive knowledge of financial concepts including GAAP, IFRS, IAS standards, COSO frameworks for internal controls
- Proficiency working with Quickbooks Manufacturing software and with technical accounting issues such as cost accounting and tax accounting.
- Demonstrated expertise in financial statement interpretation, analysis skills, risk management strategies, and regulatory compliance.
- Strong leadership skills with experience managing finance teams; ability to influence at the executive level through clear communication of complex financial data.
- Excellent analytical skills with the ability to develop comprehensive financial models for forecasting and scenario planning.
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance or related field; advanced certifications such as CPA or CFA are highly desirable.
Pay: $2,000\.00 \- $4,000\.00 per month
