Job Summary:
We are seeking a Fractional Chief Financial Officer (CFO) who wants to partner closely with the practice owner and the leadership team in supporting the financial health of the practice, the strength of the business, and the sustainability of our team.
This role is relationship-driven and collaborative by nature. The ideal candidate values long-term partnership, takes the time to understand how the business truly operates, and is committed to providing thoughtful, high-quality financial leadership. You’ll be responsible for bringing clarity to cash flow, profitability, and financial decision-making while maintaining the highest standards of professionalism, accuracy, and strategic thinking.
This is not a bookkeeping role. It’s a hands-on, strategic partnership focused on financial clarity, accountability, and building a strong financial foundation that supports exceptional patient care and long-term growth.

Responsibilities:
- Partner with founder and leadership to support the financial health of the practice.
- Provide strategic insight into cash flow, profitability, and financial performance.
- Review financial data and summarize key trends and recommendations.
- Support oversight of accounts receivable and payment processes.
- Help establish and maintain clear financial processes and controls.
- Collaborate with operations and admin to align finances with daily workflows.
- Review expenses and vendors to identify efficiency opportunities.
- Assist with budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning.
- Maintain professionalism, discretion, and financial integrity.
- Stay current on best practices relevant to healthcare and service-based businesses.
Qualifications:
- Experience in a finance or financial leadership role (CFO, Fractional CFO, Controller, or similar).
- Strong understanding of cash flow, profitability, and financial planning.
- Strategic, relationship-driven approach to financial leadership.
- Clear communication skills with the ability to explain financial concepts simply.
- Strong attention to detail with a big-picture mindset.
- Ability to work independently while collaborating closely with leadership.
- Organized, proactive, and comfortable managing priorities across the business.
- Familiarity with service-based or healthcare businesses preferred
