Job Description

Summary/Objective

The Fractional CFO provides strategic financial leadership and oversight to help businesses improve profitability, optimize cash flow, and achieve sustainable growth. This role partners closely with business owners and executive teams to deliver high\-level financial strategy, forecasting, budgeting, and performance analysis. The Fractional CFO ensures sound financial systems, interprets key metrics to guide decision\-making, and supports capital planning, funding strategies, and operational efficiency.

Essential Functions

• Create and implement budgets using our established templates
• Train and coach client accounting teams
• Perform monthly financial reviews and provide strategic recommendations
• Develop general training materials and resources for clients
• Conduct quality of earnings evaluations for privately held, small companies (up to $10M)
• Work collaboratively with our bookkeeping team
• Provide strategic financial guidance to help clients make informed business decisions

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting (or in process of completion)
• Minimum 2 years of accounting management or business development experience in companies with $10M annual revenue
• Proficiency with QuickBooks and Google Workspace
• Experience in service industries, especially skilled trades preferred
• Strong analytical, communication, and coaching skills
• Exceptional attention to detail with excellent follow\-through
• Outstanding communication skills (written and verbal)
• Ability to work independently while collaborating with a team
• Excellent organizational and time management abilities
• US\-based and authorized to work in the United States

• Experience with trades, service businesses, or real estate industries
