About This Role
We are currently seeking an accomplished Chief Financial Officer to oversee and direct the financial leadership of our rapidly expanding construction management and general contracting organization based in Dallas, TX. This role is designed for a forward-thinking finance executive who can provide strategic direction while maintaining strong financial discipline as the company scales.
Reporting directly to the President, the CFO will be a trusted partner to senior leadership, responsible for safeguarding the company’s financial strength, improving operational performance, and supporting sustained profitability across complex construction projects.
This is a full-time, on-site role in Dallas. Relocation support is available for qualified candidates nationwide.

Key Responsibilities
Provide executive-level financial leadership across budgeting, forecasting, banking relationships, insurance, audits, tax compliance, and internal controls
Work closely with ownership and executive management to align financial strategy with business growth and operational goals
Lead, develop, and mentor accounting and finance teams while ensuring accuracy, compliance, and best-in-class financial practices
Partner with project teams, clients, and vendors to support contract administration, cash flow management, and financial performance on major construction and infrastructure projects
Advance financial reporting and systems by implementing modern tools that support real-time analysis and data-driven decision making
Qualifications & Ideal Background
10–20 years of progressive accounting and finance experience within the construction industry
Demonstrated stability and leadership within a construction organization (General Contractor, Construction Manager, EPC, Design-Build, Civil, or Specialty Contractor)
Proven success managing financial operations, controls, and strategy in a project-based environment
Strong expertise in financial planning, job cost accounting, audits, tax matters, and ERP/accounting platforms
Excellent leadership, communication, and analytical capabilities
Open to seasoned CFOs or senior Controllers / Vice Presidents of Finance prepared to step into a top executive role
