Are you a strong senior living leader who can step in, stabilize operations, inspire teams, and drive results during a leadership transition? We are seeking an experienced Interim Executive Director to lead our assisted living community in Amsterdam.

This is an excellent opportunity for a hands\-on leader with a passion for resident care, team development, and operational excellence.

Position Summary

The Interim Executive Director will oversee the daily operations of the assisted living community, ensuring high\-quality resident services, regulatory compliance, financial performance, and staff engagement. This role requires a visible leader who can quickly assess needs, implement solutions, and maintain a positive culture.

Key Responsibilities
------------------------

  • Provide day\-to\-day leadership of the assisted living community
  • Ensure exceptional resident care, safety, and satisfaction
  • Lead, coach, and support department managers and staff
  • Maintain compliance with state regulations and company policies
  • Oversee occupancy goals, census development, and community reputation
  • Manage budgets, labor, and financial performance
  • Strengthen employee morale, accountability, and retention
  • Partner with families, residents, and local referral sources
  • Prepare the community for permanent leadership transition

Qualifications
------------------

  • Previous experience as an Executive Director, Administrator, or Regional leader in Assisted Living, Senior Living, or Long\-Term Care
  • Strong knowledge of New York assisted living regulations preferred
  • Proven success in team leadership, operations, and occupancy growth
  • Ability to step into changing environments and lead with confidence
  • Excellent communication, problem\-solving, and organizational skills
  • Licensed Administrator credentials preferred (if applicable)
