Stealth is seeking a results\-driven CMO Team Lead with a specialized focus on managing the delivery of marketing performance and a team of Marketing Directors to join our team on a full\-time basis. Through our CMO\-led Fractional Marketing Program, you will tailor and provide strategic guidance, expert advice, and hands\-on support to optimize client marketing efforts, drive growth, and achieve business objectives. This role offers a unique opportunity to leverage your extensive marketing experience and management expertise to achieve our client’s growth goals.
Key Responsibilities
Marketing Team Management
- Manage Marketing Director level and above team members delivering strategic marketing guidance and execution of a client portfolio
- Provide expert insight and frameworks for budget and performance forecasting, go\-to\-market strategies, brand stories, vendor and executive management
Marketing Strategy Management and Facilitation
- Facilitate interactive whiteboard sessions with clients to diagnose complex issues and overcome roadblocks through a high energy experiential approach
- Present and explain marketing strategy plans to client decision makers
- Oversee the execution of agency vendors by scoping requests, reviewing and approving contracts, and holding them accountable to objectives through performance reviews
- Remove roadblocks, offer creative solutions, and a whatever it takes attitude towards hitting client growth objectives
- Work collaboratively with other team members to share ideas, overcome roadblocks, and keep a client’s marketing program on track
- Deliver top notch presentation decks in Google Slides for clients through writing, and pulling together any required image or visual assets
- Manage the creation of compelling Sales Decks and narratives for marketing and sales alignment
- Map out client’s customer journey workflows and identify areas for improvement in communication and efficiency
- Conduct in\-depth market analysis, competitor research, and customer segmentation to inform strategic decision\-making and identify growth opportunities
- Provide strategic guidance and recommendations on positioning, messaging, ad copy, target audience identification, and go\-to\-market strategies
Marketing Audit and Assessment
- Conduct thorough audits and provide improvement suggestions of clients' existing marketing efforts, including digital marketing, branding, content strategy, and marketing communications
- Analyze marketing performance metrics, KPIs, and ROI to identify strengths, weaknesses, and areas for optimization
- Deliver actionable insights and recommendations for enhancing marketing effectiveness, efficiency, and alignment with business objectives
Marketing Technology Expertise
- Guide Marketing Directors on the best ways to utilize marketing automation tools like Hubspot for workflow creation and customer nurturing, contact data importing, and campaign messaging
- Provide recommendations and scope project needs for our technology vendors to integrate systems, tracking, and implementing new tools to support marketing objectives
- Offer expertise in selecting and implementing marketing technology solutions that align with clients' business needs, budget, and resources
Client Relationship Management
- Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, serving as a trusted advisor and strategic partner for their marketing initiatives
- Communicate effectively with clients to understand their goals, challenges, and priorities, and tailor marketing consulting services to meet their needs
- Evaluate client strategy plans and identify opportunities for expansion or evaluate and approve cases for resource reductions
Qualifications
- Minimum 10 years of experience as a Director or VP of Marketing
- Proven track record of success in driving marketing strategy, planning, and execution for clients across diverse industries and market segments.
- Demonstration of ability to create sales opportunity growth within both B2B and B2C companies with a minimum of $5M in annual revenue.
- Demonstration of ability to oversee and approve the completion of the integration of a marketing tech stack with tracking, reporting, and alignment to budget and performance goals.
- Strong familiarity with digital marketing channels, marketing technology, analytics, and best practices. Platforms include Google Analytics, Google Ads, and Facebook Ads Manager.
- Excellent consulting, communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport and influence stakeholders at all levels.
- Strong project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple client projects simultaneously and deliver results on time and within budget.
- Strong leadership skills, team building, and executive expectation setting required.
- Experience working in a fractional or consulting capacity is highly desirable.
- Experience working with businesses who run on EOS highly preferred.
