Licensed Esthetician -- Independent Contractor

Overview
We are seeking a skilled and passionate Esthetician to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in various esthetic treatments and services, ensuring exceptional customer experiences while maintaining the highest standards of sanitation and professionalism. This role requires excellent communication skills, a commitment to guest services, and the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently in a fast\-paced environment.

Duties

• Provide a range of esthetic services including facials, body waxing, eyelash extensions, dermal fillers, botulinum toxin treatments, and esthetic laser treatments.
• Conduct thorough consultations with clients to assess their needs and recommend appropriate treatments.
• Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of workstations and tools in compliance with health regulations.
• Utilize salon software such as MINDBODY for scheduling appointments and managing client records.
• Engage in retail sales by promoting products that complement the services provided.
• Manage front desk operations including appointment bookings, customer inquiries, and payment processing.
• Demonstrate strong customer service skills by ensuring client satisfaction throughout their experience.
• Stay updated on industry trends and techniques including hair extensions, tattooing, makeup application, deep tissue massage, hair threading, and color theory.
• Participate in product demos and upselling strategies to enhance client engagement.

Requirements

• Valid license or certification relevant to esthetics.
• Proven experience in a med spa or salon environment is preferred.
• Familiarity with management software such as Millennium or similar platforms is advantageous.
• Strong knowledge of sanitation practices and health regulations within the beauty industry.
• Excellent communication skills with an emphasis on guest services and hospitality.
• Ability to perform various esthetic procedures including but not limited to dermabrasion, hair styling, nail care, barbering, and straight razor techniques.
• Experience in social media management is a plus for promoting services and engaging with clients online.
