Part-Time Bookkeeper / HR & Payroll Support (Bilingual – Independent Contractor)

About This Role

A well\-established Orange County company with more than 40 years in business is seeking a reliable part\-time independent contractor to support bookkeeping, payroll, and financial coordination. This position is ideal for an experienced accounting or bookkeeping professional who enjoys working independently while maintaining a flexible part\-time schedule.

In this role, you will be responsible for maintaining company financial records, performing account reconciliations, and managing payroll processing. You will also assist with HR\-related coordination, including supporting employee compliance requirements. The position involves working closely with company leadership on financial tracking and reporting, while also helping coordinate information between the CFO, Controller, and external CPA.

Strong communication skills are important, as the role requires interacting comfortably in both English and Spanish. The ideal candidate is highly organized, detail\-oriented, and able to handle sensitive financial information with professionalism and discretion.

Qualified applicants should have at least five years of bookkeeping or accounting experience, along with working knowledge of QuickBooks or similar accounting software. Candidates who demonstrate strong performance may have opportunities for expanded responsibilities or a longer\-term working relationship with the company.

Pay: $30\.00 \- $35\.00 per hour
