CPA – QuickBooks Online & Strategic Advisory (Part-Time / Consulting)

Eula Blue is a CPA-backed strategic finance advisory firm supporting government agencies, organizations, and growing businesses through fractional CFO leadership, modern accounting systems, and financial clarity.

We are seeking a CPA with strong, hands-on QuickBooks Online expertise to work alongside our internal bookkeeping team and provide strategic oversight, financial structure, and client-facing guidance.

This is a consulting CPA role, and opportunity to join our leadership advisory team.

Key Responsibilities

You will:

• Oversee bookkeeping performed by our internal team to ensure accuracy, integrity, and reporting readiness
• Own the financial review process inside QuickBooks Online Advanced
• Correct, optimize, and structure client files for clean reporting
• Advise on chart of accounts, class tracking, revenue recognition, and reporting structure
• Prepare and review financial reports: Balance Sheet, Profit & Loss, and Cash Flow
• Participate in monthly or quarterly client calls as the CPA voice for financial clarity
• Provide proactive tax strategy guidance based on financial performance
• Prepare clients for tax season through clean books and forward planning
• Collaborate with Eula Blue’s Managing Partner and Fractional CFO team on financial insights
• Perform tax filings if the client elects and you are located in New Jersey

Qualifications

You:

• Are a licensed CPA
• Are highly proficient in QuickBooks Online (Advanced level)
• Understand how accounting systems drive tax strategy and business decisions
• Enjoy consulting, advising, and speaking with clients
• Have experience running or working within your own CPA firm or advisory practice
• Have experience cleaning up, restructuring, and optimizing QBO files

Engagement Structure

• Part-time, consulting engagement (5 hours to start with opportunity to grow)
• Flexible hours
• Fully remote
• Participation in client calls (monthly or quarterly depending on client needs)
• Direct collaboration with Eula Blue leadership and bookkeeping team

Ideal Background

• Experience managing multiple clients inside QBO
• Familiarity with service-based businesses, consultants, and government contractors is a plus
• Prior advisory, controller, or fractional CFO support experience is highly valued

Pay: $85.00 - $90.00 per hour

Expected hours: 1.0 – 2.0 per week
