At Home by Silver Horizons is a licensed non\-medical home care agency seeking an experienced home care professional to work directly with the Owner and CEO to support caregiver recruitment, client onboarding, operations, and agency growth.

We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Fractional Director of Operations / Agency Administrator to lead and optimize the daily functions of a home care agency. This role is vital in ensuring seamless management of healthcare services, maintaining compliance with industry standards, and fostering a compassionate environment for clients and staff alike. As a key leader, you will drive operational excellence, uphold quality standards, and support strategic growth initiatives within the agency. This position offers an exciting opportunity to influence the delivery of exceptional home care services while working flexibly across multiple responsibilities.

This is a flexible fractional leadership opportunity for someone who understands home care operations and enjoys helping agencies grow.

Responsibilities

• Recruit, screen, and onboard caregivers
• Support client onboarding and service initiation
• Assist with scheduling and staffing coordination
• Support payroll and agency back\-office operations
• Improve operational workflows and processes
• Assist with referral development and growth initiatives
• May lead caregiver orientation, onboarding, and training sessions as needed
• Work directly with the Owner to achieve agency growth goals

Required Qualifications

Only applicants who meet the following criteria will be contacted.

• Minimum 3 years of experience in a licensed non\-medical home care agency
• Knowledge of Illinois Department of Public Health (IDPH) Home Services Agency requirements
• Must reside in Lake County, northern Cook County, or a neighboring community and be available for occasional in\-person meetings
• Previous experience as an Agency Administrator, Director of Operations, Branch Manager, Operations Manager, Staffing Manager, Scheduler, Recruiter, or similar home care leadership role
• Experience recruiting and onboarding caregivers
• Experience onboarding home care clients
• Experience with scheduling, staffing, payroll, and agency operations
• Ability to work independently and execute without extensive supervision
• This is primarily a flexible fractional role; however, candidates must be willing to travel locally within Lake County and northern Cook County for occasional in\-person meetings, caregiver onboarding, training, and operational support as needed.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience helping grow a home care agency
• Experience conducting caregiver orientation and training
• Experience with CareSmartz360, AxisCare, AlayaCare, WellSky, HHA Exchange, or similar software

Pay: $60\.00 \- $90\.00 per hour
